Meet our faculty!
Cantor Harriet Dunkerley
Cantor Harriet is our Spiritual Leader & Education Director! She teaches Bagels & Blocks, Music, Family B’nai Mitzvah Seminar, and Confirmation. Cantor also leads our RS T’filah and will be our 7th grade Hebrew teacher this year!
Morah Ellie Gluck
Morah Ellie is our Assistant Education Director/Youth & Communications Coordinator! She teaches Jr. Chai, Adult Education and is our 6th Grade Hebrew teacher!
Morah Ariella Mendes
Morah Ari is our Kindergarten & 1st Grade teacher and also works with older beginning Hebrew students on Wednesdays. Ari will also, in partnership with Cantor Harriet, be directing the TBC Children’s Chior!
Morah Barbara Massy Bear
Morah Barbara is our amazing 2nd & 3rd Grade teacher. She also serves as a Trustee on our TBC Board.
Morah Rica Mendes
Morah Rica is our 4th Grade Judaica teacher. She is an extraordinary hair stylist and owns her own salon in Norwalk, CT!
Morah Marilyn Van Raalte
Morah Marilyn, one of TBC’s Founding Members, is our 4th Grade Hebrew teacher and one of our fabulous B’nai Mitzvah Coaches!
Nora Baskin
Nora is our 6th & 7th Grade Judaica teacher. She is a talented writer and has published many books. Nora is currently developing a special curriculum for our post-B’nai Mitzvah 8th & 9th Grade students which she will offer this year!
Morah Rayna Avizov
Morah Rayna is our incredibly talented Hebrew Help teacher. She works with students who have special learning needs and is also one of our fabulous B’nai Mitzvah Coaches!
